UK campsite recommendations

I'm so overwhelmed with choosing a campsite and would really appreciate any personal recommendations. First time with kids.
It's for me, my husband and 2 kids ages 3.5 and 22 months. We're looking for somewhere not too busy (no need for pool or kids club), roomy pitches (kids usually get up at 5am and I don't want to disturb anyone!) but a little play area, shop/restaurant would be great. Not too far north or south, Wales and midlands (or a bit further) would be great.
Just a lovely family-friendly campsite?!

If you’re on Facebook the Family Camping UK group is a great resource for things like this 🙂

unfortunately the really good ones will be booked up
unless you’re looking for next year

Thanks both. Have last minute leave in August so couldn't book earlier. I naively thought there might be a quiet site available...the types where you can't book online etc that perhaps as well know. Looking for unicorn I think 🙈

There’s loads of campsites and you’re not asking for much by way of facilities, I’m sure you will find somewhere! Have you scrolled through PitchUp?

My partner and I went to Watermouth valley in north Devon in June and it was incredible! So so quiet and relaxing and lots to do locally if you do want beach/pools/amusements not sure whether they’ll have availability this late notice though :(

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. As expected I struggled to find somewhere but have now booked at Cotswold farm park which looks good and entry to the farm park each day which is great. I've saved this list for next time as they all look lovely.
