We normally book our pitch way in advance but due to my ill health we’ve left it late (possibly too late) to book for the beginning of August. Most years we’ve headed down to Italy but can’t go as far this year so France it is. We normally only do short stopovers on municipal sites.
We’d wanted to go to to the Atlantic coast, no further south than La Rochelle, but of course anything decent will have been booked up ages ago. I found a site near Royan but DH was worried that the beach wasn’t going to be very good and more like a river sediment type beach instead of sandy. It’s getting difficult!
I’ve got ACSI, looked at Sandaya and Yelloh! but still struggling.
Any suggestions please??
