Am taking bronze Duke of Edinburgh in 2 weeks. Don't want to take huge tent normallyh used for hols as is only 1 night. Where can i get 3 man pop up CHEAPLY??? Plus, am fed up of being cold with air beds so am also looking for self inflating mats

Check out supermarkets like tesco, or argos, or any of the outdoor shops, they all do cheap tents and slightly less cheap pop ups, if you are helping on a DOE, you should at least attempt to put up a tent, surely .

Self inflating mats are good as you get a layer of foam for insulation, try adding a 4.99 waterproof backed picnic rug underneath for extra insulation. Full set of thermals are great for at night, wear them all day and night .
