Outwell - Bear Lake 4

Have been to see a tent display today and have totally fallen in love with this tent.

It was really wet and windy and most of the other tents were blowing about but the Bear Lake just stood there solid like it was built of bricks.

I really really want it. Trouble is, I've just bought a Coleman Weathermaster which I was over the moon with until I saw the Outwell. Mine cost £179 (reduced from £450) and the Bear Lake is £550.

Should I just go for it? Will it be worth the extra money?

We bought the Bear Lake 6 after falling in love with it at a tent display! Haven't had chance to try it out yet but so excited about it! Shop around online - we paid less for our 6 than the price you've quoted for the 4...

You're right - we walked into it at this tent display last August and fell instantly in love, went round all the cheaper ones trying to fall in love but kept going back.

Just have to convince dh then - although he's fallen in love with it as well but he's waiting for me to make the decision so he can blame me for being skint!

Anyone want to buy a brand new Coleman Galileo?

ismisemama: just checked the credit card statement and we seem to have purchased it from somewhere called Outdoor Action for £463.96 -just checked their 2008 catalogue now and it's back at £630. We picked it up in the sale last December having spotted it last August and lurked online looking for good deals. It may be a case of waiting!
