Large Tent size

Last year we got into camping with our young sons. We were given a tent (Berghaus Kepler 9 nightfall) by our in-laws.

We really like the separate bedroom pods and the extra space so even if it's raining it doesn't matter as there's plenty of room for playing.

However I am struggling to find sites that can accommodate the size of it with EHU.
It's width is 785cm and length is 850cm I believe. It is the shape of a cross rather than a tunnel.

Does anyone have recommendations of sites with large/jumbo pitches with EHU in Cotswolds/Dorset/Derbyshire? Thanks

That it huge, and the cross formation does seem to use its room badly. Makes me think they're getting rid of it because it won't fit anywhere.

Gosh that would be nice to be inside but not a very practical shape for formal campsites. I'm only just entering the world of EHU campsites, so no recos, but have you asked if you can pay for two pitches? I've seen that come up as an option at some sites if you have an oversize tent.

Obvs. doubles the cost, but still cheaper than buying a whole new tent.

I think you'll struggle to find sites with EHU. Do you really need it? Is it a dealbreaker if you don't have EHU?

We camp in Dorset a lot, but I'm struggling to think of a site with EHU that would accommodate a tent of that size. Sorry.

Could you buy a large battery rather than EHU?

This is how we camp. A leisure battery which we charge with a solar panel.

We are going to keep it but not have EHU pitches

We have an Emperor bell tent and just choose camp sites that are basically just a field. We use a camping battery and take pre charged lights.
