Any recommendations for a dog friendly site in Scotland ?
How bad are the midges ?

Looks like Findhorn will be it with a stop around Moffat

I'm in Moffat. Oddly enough the midges haven't been as bad for the last couple of years. They're really only a high summer thing when the weather is humid. Ticks are a problem on dogs though - get the dog tick-proofed.

@MaxandMeg thank you it's a good point about the tick, someone else told me that midges haven't been too bad in Moffat so it seems a good place to start
