Where to in Cornwall?

So myself and my mum are planning on coming to Cornwall the last week of March. Coming on a Saturday leaving on a Thursday. We have never been before and planning on camping with the dog. We will have access to a car and both are big walkers and nature lovers.
Can anyone recommend any areas to stay/ places to see? We are not too bothered about dining out as much just walking, hiking and sightseeing.

What sort of facilities do you want on the campsite and is there anything that you're planning on seeing like the Lost Gardens of Heligan?
