Squeeeeeee! Tomorrow I get my new to me dandy! I'm very excited and nerding out watching videos of putting it up and down, planning all the tweaks I can make and how much easier it will be than lugging my 5m bell tent down from the loft!

Looks lovely! I have a trailer tent we are yet to use - really excited about using it when the weather it a bit better! They are such a great idea I think.

It's a slippery slope, give it a couple of years and you will have a caravan! 😉😁

Of that's excellent! They're so much better than canvas campers. I had one a few years ago then upgraded to a 1982 Eriba Puck. It's the same footprint as a large Dandy and lower than a normal caravan so don't think you won't be able to change....

Wow, that’s amazing, I wonder if it is where they got the idea for the tardis from!

I'm renovating an old 1984 Dandy 4, hoping to get away in it later this year. Just need to get the kitchen unit and electrics/water sorted.

Aww that takes me back !
we had a dandy when the kids were small.

thry are amazing bits of kit in a reliant robin way ❤️

practice getting the beds out and the legs secure - it’s quite heavy - if you are line camping people on site will always help.

the other thing is take a bag of rags / old towels to dry off the roof if you need to pack it after rain or dew , otherwise the wet runs into the unit !
