Hi
I am looking for any recommendations of a campsite reasonably close to a French ferry port (within 2 hours drive max). Family of four children 7 & 2 so would like a site with pool, maybe a splash park and other activities. Any ideas please?

Les Mouettes if the Plymouth-Roscoff crossing is accessible to you. It was our first trip abroad with 2 DC. Brilliant outdoor pool and splash park.

Roscoff is a lovely little town - we always did that crossing when OH was alive. Small and friendly with no trouble negotiating a route out.

Domaine des Ormes is a huge very busy site with all sorts of activities- it's very full-on according to relatives who stayed there last year. It's inland from the Mont st Michel area.
If you want something a bit smaller, right by beautiful sandy beaches and coves (with lots of rock pools to explore ) then this site in Brittany is ideal for families:

La Trinitie is a small harbour town about 20 mins walk along the coast path, the site has a pool, there is a bakery and nice restaurant. The site is family run- we have been lots of times.
It's about 2 hours from Roscoff or St Malo.
