I love in the Cotswolds and another family who live in London are planning to meet halfway with us for a camping trip in the summer. Ideally the campsite would have some activities on site or nearby: for example a games room on sight, paddle boarding nearby or others. Also i was hoping to have a small shop or pub of some kind either onsite or nearby so i don't have to cook all the meals.
Anyone got any recommendations?

Banbury Hill Farm, Enstone Road, Charlbury, Oxfordshire, OX7 3JH

Very clean and tidy site with activities however not a razzmatazz site.

Red shoot in the new forest? Not truly half way, but equidistant roughly

Hardwick Parks would be a good option. There’s a play area, water sports on site, swimming in the lake in the summer and a club house serving meals.

Town Farm camping in the Chilterns has a games room, adventure play area and football field. No restaurant or shop, but there are pop-up caterers most weekends and some weekdays during school holidays. It’s also within easy walking distance of the local pub.

A couple of options that might work well for you are Hardwick Parks or Town Farm camping. Both have on-site activities and are close to pubs. Hardwick even has a café. Being in the Chilterns, Town Farm is a nice central location too.

Thank you so much for all the suggestions! Hardwick park looks perfect!
