Northern Spain - campsites

Looking at the ferry crossing next August summer holidays and hoping to find a recommendation for a gem of a campsite. We have stayed at St Vicente de Barquera before and loved the small campsite in the pines, right on the beach, short walk into the old town....but the kids will want a pool so hoping to find something fairly smart but not massive, no evening entertainment, child friendly pool and near the beach. Any recommendations?

I'm not surprised that you're struggling. I don't know about Spain but finding a campsite that fulfilled that criteria in the UK would be hard, although there are some.
