Sleeping bag advice

DD1 is going camping with the Scouts at the end of Nov. It's a local campsite in Highland Perthshire. She has a Vango 2 season junior size sleeping bag but that won't be sufficient.

It could be as cold as -10 overnight at the end of Nov or it could be mild and wet.

Which sleeping bag would you advise buying? Down is unsuitable due to her allergies.

Thanks.

a tip i have found thats an easy fix is buy a fleece to go into the sleeping bag just a throw size one it stops the sleeping bag from getting cold and you can wrap yourself up in it inside the sleeping bag and it folds up inside the bag quite small

I have been looking at fleece liners and wondering...

Closed cell mat plus SIM underneath.

I've got an old Norwegian one where you can add a fleece inner and fasten it around your head. It's super warm.

One thing that we do if it's going to be cold is to put a picnic blanket under the SIM and the plastic backing seems to keep you warmer.
