Static caravan - shelving, storage etc

sorry if I’m in totally the wrong forum, but I was looking for some advice from static owners.

we’re in the process of buying a static caravan - we have stayed in the very same one lots of times so know what we love and could improve upon.

for me the main issue is storage and i would love to add some shelving, towel rails, hooks etc but I don’t know if you can screw things into the walls?

if you own a static, please can you give me any tips? Also, it’s already nicely decorated and quite modern but if we wanted to change the carpet - do you need special caravan carpet or something??

if I’m in the wrong forum please just let me know. Thanks

We have a static. No need for special carpet. We used a carpet fitter from the local town. Screwing things into the walls can be a bit of a problem because they are thin.

Thank you! I hoped it would be that simple!

Thanks - I wasn’t sure how much weight those strips would support ie hanging up a wet towel to dry?

We use command hooks for towels. You can get big heavy duty ones
