I know it's going to be really hot as it's Avignon and we've been there before but before baby came along. What are your camping must haves in a hot place?

I'm bringing a toilet seat reducer as I know they're are no seats and she's mostly potty trained.

We have a blackout air beam tent. We're driving down over two days and staying two weeks 🙈

Will you have an ehu? Fridge? You could take a little paddling pool to sit her in. Plenty of shade, so take a tarp and poles.

Yes, got electricity supply and picked up an electric cool box so can keep stuff cool overnight, won't be powerful enough in the day! We've got a hook up cable and hopefully will be compatible!

Mine spent the heatwave of 2003 sitting in a washing up bowl of water under a shade tent. It was 40 degrees in the part of france we were in. We went to the beach but at 6pm!

Until a few years ago French EHUs pretty well universally used the continental style '2 pin' plug. They're now moving over to the same blue 3 pin jobs that you'd find on C&CC/CAMC sites in UK but they're far from universal.

UK caravan etc shops or on line places like Towsure will happily sell you an adapter.

Not likely to be a problem in a tent/cool box etc but if you've an electric kettle or whatever check how many amps the supply is. Can be as low as 5.
