Windbreak - 4 or 7 poles?

I want to get a windbreak to help with lighting fires and to have a bit of shelter when camping. However the style I like only has 4 or 7 poles - just wondering if 4 is too small and therefore pointless? But equally 7 seems enormous!

I find the long windbreaks unwieldy. 4 is enough to shield a fire or make a bit of shelter for your table etc

then if you need more, get another. More flexible.
