Toddler sleeping arrangements

Planning to go camping first week of July in Cornwall.

How did you do it with ,1yo toddlers and sleep? We are bringing 2 single mats to sleep on, ,4 pax tent, 2 / 3 vango single sleeping bags which can go down to 5 degrees Celsius.

However toddler hates sleeping with covers on atm, kicks it off, tosses and turns hate sleep sacks. How do you dress toddler? Thinking 2.5tog sleep sack with feet (but most of these are sleeveless, do I wear a bodysuit + onesie or is that overkill?!

With 11mo, it was this time of year but cooler, we had two sleep compartments and we used a padded foil mat on the floor of his to reflect heat, we got one the size of his compartment so he couldn’t roll off. He was then dressed in: a vest, sleep suit, fleecy all in one with hood up, socks.

The fleecy all in one was a fleece lined outdoor splash suit, which acted like a sleeping bag would for us.

Are you not taking a mat for the toddler?

Amazing fleecy sleep suit sounds like a great idea

We are small parents and we can usually fit 3 of us on double bed with room spare, so I figured it might be ok?
