We have a caravan and the awning curtains don't match the quality of the rest of the awning and caravan-the fabric is thin and poorly sewn. They attach to the windows on a plastic rail, each curtain has a series of plastic hooks sown onto the fabric. Also because the awning slopes and there is no means to attach at the bottom of the window the curtains don't sit close to the window.
They don't really keep much light out.
I'd like to replace with something but don't want to buy another version of what's there.
I'm not much of a sewer, so couldn't buy better fabric and sew the plastic hooks in. Plus that doesn't solve the hanging away from the window issue. I could do a bit of simple sewing.
Has anyone managed to make or buy something better to cover their awning windows?
