Anyone got one of these? I'm thinking of getting one...

I camp won’t friends who have one.

Brilliant tents.

I had one and it leaked in the road. Took it back to the shop. It was a few years ago now tho.

Love ours! I can put it up by myself. Spacious enough on it's own and versatile with the awning ( I prefer it without though). We've camped for two weeks happily in it with 2 DSs. We have a campervan now and use it as the awning and for the DSs to sleep in.

We love ours. We're comfort campers so have a big inflatable mattress in the sleeping area and then all our crap in the front bit. We camp with friends who are more hardened and have a smaller more practical tent - ours becomes the one we gravitate to when it's cold and/or raining as there's space in the front area for chairs. I love the headroom too.

Brilliant tent. We also have the awning for longer trips. Easy and quick to put up alone, spacious inside.

Excellent thanks for your replies!

Is the darkened sleeping compartment actually dark?

Is the 'trip lip' (as I call it!...the raised bottom edge of the doorway) an issue? Or better for keeping the wet out?

The trip lip definitely keeps the water out, unless you're actually in a stream or one of the kids leaves a walking boot on it.

We have this tent
Its great for the 4 of us (would be a squash for 5)

We also have the extension for longer trips.

Its great.

The bedroom is not a black out and doesnt seem dark.

But its really quick and easy to erect and also to fold and pack away after.

Packs down small enough to fit the rest of the camping paraphanalia in the boot as well.

Definitely get the food print for it too.

Great tent, I've had ours for over 6 years. Bedroom area is darker. Good space. Just back from a very wet week in Cornwall and only a few drips of rain in living area, because front guy rope came out overnight.

ShakespearesSisters · 03/08/2023 05:14

We have this too. I'm also able to put it up by myself but a second person does make it easier. About 25 mins for both bits (we have the awning) if there is 2 of us. The sleeping end is darker but definitely not black out.
It has done well in some torrential rain and high winds. We are really good at picking the worst times to camp!
