Taking 8mo camping

What does your baby sleep in / on when camping? Not sure where to start with a travel cot or what have you.

In between us! We tried with a travel cot when we first took him at 5mo but he was a bit cold so better in between us. We have a double and a single SIM which we push together and he sleeps in his 2.5 tog sleeping bag under the duvet with us. If he’s warm we just stick him on top of the duvet instead

We used a travel cot in a tent with our 12 month old. The older ones, aged 2 years and 4 years slept in sleeping bags

We used a travel cot with our 10 month old. In our side of the tent. Came off the beach, into cosy bedtime sleep suit, warmed milk with charger in car, fell asleep, picked her up and popped her into travel cot and slept soundly all night. Perfect!
