Mid size tent owners, how do you store clothes when camping?

I'm looking for ideas on storing luggage and clothes while camping for a week or two without taking over the entire inside of the tent.

We're looking to downsize from an outwell vermouth to a tent with a smaller footprint, alongside a pup tent for the teen and a gazebo kitchen.

The vernont has a very handy wardrobe with space for all our bags. I've camped in smaller tents pre kids but can't figure out solutions for manging all the stuff.

Our intention to downsize is partly cost driven but on reflection it may not be the best idea. Our current tent is pretty large- 8m by 5m with sleeping space for 5. Loads of inside space, we can even get the table and chairs inside if its raining.

We always see folks with the smaller tent and a gazebo, set up essentially you sit/cook/live under that but I had a wobble about storage space.

Hmm, further pondering required.

We have raised camp beds to sleep on and the bAgs go underneath- game changer.

Are you hoping to be able to book smaller pitches?

We are finding more that sites charge an extra fee for gazebos! It can be cheaper to take our massive tent than our smaller tents plus gazebo.

I've just remembered how a friend manages it too, as an alternative: they all have camp beds, and small suitcases/bags that slip under them.

Another option, as you mentioned already owning pup tents, is to bring one solely to store clothes/use as a dressing room? We've done this but used as a playroom when away with a few other families, to save the horde of DCs from destroying everyone's set up and keep the toys together in one place.

I agree with a PP that I suspect you'll regret downgrading when it rains and you're all squeezed into the smaller space.
