Small campsite recommendations with kids

Does anyone know of a campsite within walking distance of a pub with playground? Preferably not further than 2.5hrs drive of london, fires allowed and private pitches/space between pitches? Or am I asking for a moon on a stick?

Oh was going to recommend one but then I saw your travel restrictions.

How old are the kids?

Heronsdale Farm - no playground on site but there’s one in the village which is less than 20mins walk.
Summer’s Ponds
Blacklands Farm

@Galadriel90 5 and 7. Not bothered about a playground in the campsite just nice to have one in a nearby pub so can let play while we have a beer

Depends which side of London you are, but Three Rivers in Norfolk is worth looking at too

Twiteys near Stratford Upon Avon. No pub walkable sadly but several a short drive away. Fire pits, honesty shop, lovely mown pitches in the meadows. And Stratford is only about ten mins away.
