Where are you sailing in to? and what sort of stuff do you want to see? The Landing Beaches? bayeux tapestry?

Martagny near Bayeux is nice and peaceful, not sure if any of the big companies go there, and think it's tents and towed caravans only. Bit in the middle of nowhere, handy for Bayeux (tapestry defo worth seeing) but not best placed for beaches. About an hour from Cherbourg.
Have also stayed at Cote de Nacre in St Aubin, near Caen. Nice site, quite commercial, great area for beaches, seaside towns and DDay sites.
Further east, Deauville and Honfleur are pleasant seaside towns, closer to Le Havre.

Camping Port'Land near Port-en-Bassin is a nice campsite, good for families. Close to Bayeux and the landing beaches.
