We're going to do loads of camping this summer have 4 year old twins and a 3 year old. Would ideally like something that is pretty, beach, moor or woodland and great for small kids.

Thanks

We love this site - Dornafield in S Devon, it is truly gorgeous, perfectly clean toilet blocks and showers, a nice childrens playground in the woods and not too touristy.

Check out the reviews on uk camping here they are fabulous!

We stayed here last May - vey pretty and unspoilt (NB there is a river at the bottom of it so little ones can't roam completely free), clean showers etc and pretty basic, which I like - no catering. It's just on the edge of Dartmoor - nearest town is Tavistock.
Then we spent a couple nights here - near Dartmouth, much louder and busier and attached to a great if a bit eccentric theme park place - good for little ones, food etc.

Thanks for those, exactly the type we're looking for. We live in South Devon, very near Dornafield but never heard of it!!!!!

Want to start off close to home so both will be ideal, just need to find some either on Dartmoor or further into Devon and Cornwall now.

Once stayed on a lovely one near Marazion with peacocks on a farm but just can't find it.

Oh you see now I am just {envy} of you living there MilaMae - I won't tell dh he loves it.

Dornafield is just off the Newton Abbott to Totnes road, you turn right down the side of a pub opposite a shed selling business iirc.

Ross Park on the same road is lovely too, another 5* site.

In North Devon, there's
www.northmortefarm.co.uk which is very popular but nice - sea views and a little beach you can walk down to, plus two children's playgrounds. It's near Woolacombe.

Hassled's and Lucycat's look good, I'm noting them down.
