Apologies - Another Vendee campsite thread (yawn)

I'm on the verge of booking Le Littoral in Sables D'olonne (though camping life with my tesco vouchers, so I don't have many other options).

Has anyone been to this site?

And is it better to go to the Vendee at the end of July/first week of August or the last two weeks of August? Weather/crowds etc

Last 2 weeks of August are usually cheaper and are def more quiet - Their season ends then so some campsite shops run low etc (although on Vendee loads of local shops anyway).

Have had a slight change of plan and now looking at the Acapulco in St Jean de Monts, because of the kids club - it will mean all my DC can go
I know Acapulco has been rated on here, so hopefully it will be OK.

We have not stayed there. (Been to Le Bois Dormant with Siblu & Les Genets - next to Le Clarys Plage site, with Matthews). The area is great.

You really must try & visit Le Puy du Fou - most amazing day oiut & well worth the trip. Loads of others on here have recommended it.
