Inflatable mattress recommendations?

I'm looking for a half decent inflatable camping mat but really don't want to spend £200 on one as I won't be using every weekend 😂 I just want something with a semi decent R value to keep me warm in the autumn/spring months! I don't camp in winter but I'd like to extend my camping season as it's getting to the point now where I have more time off work to go out but it's getting too cold 😭

I need something reasonably light weight as I will be carrying it in my rucksack and don't drive but I don't count grams or anything 😁

Any ideas? Thanks!

SIMS are quite bulky, though. Can you get to a shop and have a look? We have a Vango 5Cm that I find comfy and warm, I think they are about £50.

Otherwise what about one of the foil backed roll up foam mats?

I'm after a blow up inflatable rather than as SIM for that very reason 😁 I also tend to find them less comfortable as I'm a side sleeper.

The foam mats are a great budget choice but a lot of my gear is cheap and bulky as I upgrade things in stages and I just don't have the room to carry one as they are huge comparatively, despite being lightweight!

Thanks, will have a look at vango 😊

But blow up inflatables (there seem to be some really good lightweight ones of this sort of structure, Decathlon do good ones www.mountainwarehouse.com/compact-inflating-mat-p23951.aspx/Blue/?utm_source=google_shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=GB+Whoop+-+All+Products+-+Mobile+-+SHOPPING+UK&utm_term=&utm_content=s%7Cpcrid%7C249794115754%7Cpkw%7C%7Cpmt%7C%7Cpdv%7Cm%7Cslid%7C%7Cproduct%7C030039006001%7C&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIype92q3O-gIVCLTtCh3LcAJuEAQYAyABEgIs1_D_BwE ) have no insulating properties / R factor.

That comes from something insulating… generally foam… which is bulky.

We got the Berghaus double SIM last year. Absolutely brilliant. Packs down pretty small. Really can't fault it.

The zempire monstamat thermal mat might be good? It blows up with the bag and packs really small but is still 9cm thick.
