My trusty old tent finally died, so I replaced it with an Ozark yurt tent (direct.asda.com/george/outdoor-garden/camping-equipment/ozark-trail-olive-green-yurt-tent-8-person/050808108,default,pd.html), which turned out to leak awfully when we used it for the first time. I've returned that for a refund and ordered this: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0983B9WVG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
but it's been almost a week and it's not been dispatched. Amazon customer service was rubbish and won't even look into it until Sunday and I'm worried it won't arrive in time for our summer holiday (starts 15th August).
I'm starting to panic and look for other options but I can't find another tipi style tent of a decent size and price that can be delivered in time. I like the tipi style because I'm a single parent and not very tall so I need something not too heavy to lift and easy to pitch alone.
I'm now considering an air beam but they're much more expensive and I worry about punctures. I found this: www.costco.co.uk/Sports-Spas-Leisure/Camping/Tents-Shelters/Vango-Solaris-II-500-AirBeam-5-Person-Family-Tent/p/342017
It's a lot more expensive but looks really easy to put up and has good reviews, but no guaranteed delivery time so I'm stressing that it might not arrive in time either. It's on offer until Sunday so I only have until tomorrow to decide what to do.
What do you think I should do?
