Hi all,

Wanted to ask if you know of any places that would accept 11 families upto 3 hours drive away from London.

They do need to accommodate a group. It's so hard. I'm lost!

Thanks in advance.

Would each family want a separate tent/cabin? I don’t know many places which have at least 11 tents or cabins.

Yes ideally. I'm not coming up with much.

For a booking that large you're probably looking at one of the holiday parks (with 12-18 months notice for peak season).

The largest glamping sites I can find accommodate 32 across 8 units. If you were able to book the whole site as a block.

Wowo in East Sussex is great for groups. We also loved Wellington Country Park near Reading. Went 4 years in a row with a group and the kids loved it.

Have a look at ready camp by caravan and camping club though they might be pretty booked up already.

deerparkcampsite.co.uk/
Campsite in Eridge, East Sussex, has grass pitches for tents up to 10m x 10m and is family friendly. Lovely setting.

For that size group I would suggest looking at caravans - I stayed in a nice park in the peak district for instance. Or if you all have tents, you could rent a scout camp ground or similar exclusive use

Thank you for the suggestions. I'll look at each one individually.

Wowo do groups. Maybe too late for this year though.

Try youth hostels - large enough and can go for exclusive hire
