Does anyone own one of these? I think I’ve fallen in love with it.

Adorable, but imagine a wet weekend in Wales, with nowhere to hang raincoats to drip dry, and being so close to D(?)H that he is literally just breathing in your face.
I think I’d end up stabbing mine to death with a spoon! Grin

@TooHotTooGreedy its got it’s own little shower room/loo to hang wet coats!!!

It looks cute, but the price is appalling.

Maybe have a look at tear drop caravans or pod caravans if you want a micro caravan.

Or buy a small van and pay for the conversion - it would still be cheaper!

We're looking at microcamper vans right now - Kangoo / Partner / Caddy sized vehicles with a basic conversion inside.

TooHotTooGreedy · 13/06/2022 16:15

Yes it’s tiny….and right next to the kitchenette.
There would have to be a firm rule about the loo use that’s for sure!

So we had a look at a go-pod but I’m a bit mature to be nipping out at night for a quick wee!! We had a look at the Adria Action lt and the dog fell in love with it (so did I tbh) so we’ve paid a deposit and will be picking it up in the near future. Can’t wait!!!

They look pretty when all styled up, but in reality it's still a caravan. I need space and proper plumbing.

BorisJohnsonsHair · 21/06/2022 07:17

We're thinking of a Go pod. They come with a portable toilet, which we would put in a separate toilet tent, just next to the Pod. Also doubles as a shower with a USB power shower.

The Go Pod also has a bigger-than-king-size bed, which is very appealing!

So cute, I'd happily have one on the drive to retreat to with a G&T for a bit of peace.

For a holiday though, nope. I'm not sure my hefty frame would even fully fit in the shower cupboard!

Mrsherdwick · 21/06/2022 12:15

@BorisJohnsonsHair we had a look at the go-pod and tbh the bed didn’t look that big bearing in mind my dh is 5ft5 and I’m 4ft 10. It felt a bit claustrophobic tbh.

You're paying a lot for the retro chic.
Have a look at the Swift Basecamp. Less retro, less chic, but very practical. Gave one a lot of thought, before getting a motorhome instead.

Mrsherdwick · 22/06/2022 14:46

@DogInATent we’ve just bought an Adria Action lt.

@Mrsherdwick the bed is 5 ft 5 wide and longer than DH (5ft 10).

You have to view it as a tent replacement, rather than a caravan I think.
