I'm just looking at kitchen set ups and in particular camp cupboards. Any advice or photos of things you recommend?

We have a metal shelving unit with stove in top and a cupboard with zips to keep non perishables in. Will find pics..

something like this, together with a camp table works for us
stove - or pizza oven - on top, and plenty of storage, including handy side pockets

Also interested in this. Do you set them up away from the tent under a gazebo or whatever and then leave them there? Or do you live them back and forth? Or do you just cook in the tent?

Keep an eye out for the Aldi camping kitchen units in their Special Buys. They've done them in a couple of different sizes. The one with the wind screens is perfect for use with gas stoves. Really well made.

We also have this with a similar cooker to you but just the hob, no grill. Our cooker stands on this low table, I like to sit when cooking.

This should have been a reply to @Maydaysoonenough. Haven't got the hang of the new site yet

@prisscalledwanda we either lift back and forth to cook outside the tent if weather permits this, or cook in the porch area if it's wet - it's not fully enclosed so safe for cooking

Thank you!

@Maydaysoonenough I like that folding table for your stove - could you please let me know where you got it from?

And..

I have this. Bomb proof. I peg it down outside the tent and have a waterproof cover for it. Anything kitchen related gets stored underneath it. Thank over the years I've had allsorts of kitchen set ups, and bought the expensive kitchen stands (the ones with places for washing up bowls etc) and I find them too low and I'm only 5'2. I felt like I spent the whole time bent over at it.

Took cook on I have a Caminggaz party grill (a mini one on screw off legs) and I also use a Trangia set.

Inside the tent I store food and drink in a camping cupboard (someone up thread posted one) as it zips up and stops the dogs sticking their noses in.

This is what I set up outside with everything kitchen related and cover at night with water proof BBQ cover. It stays outside all the time. If it rains we go to the pub.
