Air awnings

Any recommendations please?

We've just bought a 6 berth caravan and we have 3 young kids so want space to cook in outside caravan and for them to play as caravan has fixed bunk beds at one end.

I've been looking at the vango brand and some good deals - don't want to spend a massive amount on it £1k max

Thanks

Whatever you do avoid Kampa. They leak terribly. The only exception is the Kampa Dometic all weather which is a different beast but heavier material. If you need to see why join FB my Kampa awning leaks

I have heard ok things about Vango...and it doesn't leak which is important. The best are really Isabella and Bradcott.

The problem is that awnings are currently hugely expensive. A combination of demand due to Covid and lots of people having bought caravans and supply chain issues. I sold a second hand awning for what I paid for it new a few weeks ago!!

Sorry to hijack your thread whatever1980 but does anyone know if its possible to get an air awning to fit a Conway Countryman 2001 folding camper? I'm going away by myself and can't put the standard awning up on my own.

Although I'm going to try and invent a gadget to help (which I will then patent, sell and make loads of money from) an air awning would be much easier........
