Does anyone separate their kitchen boxes? And if so, how?

I'm looking for inspiration or just a chat about camping kitchen boxes. What do you do?

For years I've put everything in one big 'kitchen' box, plus a 'pantry' box (dry food / tins / packets etc) plus the cool boxes. I spend ages hunting through everything.

I'm wondering if it might be better to have a two-box system.

I might try a 'breakfast' box (burner, tea and coffee, mugs, bowls, cutlery, kettle, cereal, jam) and then an 'everything else' box.

Or maybe one should be plates, bowls, spoons, cups etc, and the other cooking stuff?

I find it easier to have it all in one box but separate it in the box in bags/smaller boxes.

I do;

Box 1: crockery and cutlery/utensils. Cutlery and utensils in a sub box in box 1.
Box 2: pans etc.
Box 3: food.

I bought some plastic storage drawers from Tesco and find they work really well. No hunting through the box and can keep kettle, coffee etc sitting on the top as you don’t need to move them to get in the box.

I have a 22l box with a housemaid insert for utensils, washing up bits, my spices, oven gloves, bin bags etc.

I have a larger plastic tub (40l? 60l?) for the permanent things - plastic crockery, brush and pan, mallet, pegs, ....

I keep my pots in their mesh bag in the shed at home so that gets thrown into the larger tub when away (my main camping gear is in a storage unit but 1 ring gas cooker is at home in case we lose power).

And I use a 2nd plastic tub (same size as above, stacked together) for food that doesn't need the cool box.
