Has anyone been? Seems to have a loyal following of people returning year on year but I'm finding it hard to see why. If you've been, what do you think? What makes it great?

We went last year after being recommended it. I wouldn’t go back. Small pitches ( if you want electric) if not you can pitch anywhere. Was quite noisy at night with no wardens about. No social distancing in toilets and not much presence of staff. I do know that they have a lot of returning customers so some people must like it! The food vans were good and it is in a good location.

Thank you. I had read that they had "quiet after a certain time" rules, and enforced them! We do have a big tent and would ideally want electric, so not sure that would work.

I wasn't keen tbh, but people rave about it!

It was £20 a night so cheap I’m sure that doesn’t help with people pitching up. We had found one called Deers glade which looked nice. I did love Norfolk but we had a v long drive home so kind of put me off going back! We are trying Anglesey this summer. Hope you have a lovely time wherever you go ☺️

Lol. we still talk about the time we all stayed as a group at Chicken shit farm.... AKA Breck farm.

manor farm is much nicer

It was one of the few sites in Norfolk that allowed campfires, and developed a loyal returning crowd, I think.

We used to camp there about 12 years against it was fabulous. Acres of space, campfires etc. Then they built a big toilet and shower block and all of a sudden it was heaving (previously they'd only had a couple of ancient toilets and showers)

We last went about 5 years ago and won't go again. Far too noisy and packed for my liking.

Baconsthorpe Meadows isn't far from there and is lovely.

It's cheap for Norfolk, allows campfires and is very relaxed - nice for big groups, families, kids etc - close to Cromer and Sheringham - it's cheap basic and fun basically

I'm off Scaldbeck cottage campsite, Holt near Morston next weekend for a week. 4 pitches, 1 loo, one shower, no EHU and £6pppn.
