Waterproofs - All in one or separates

I have a rombustious 13 mth boy, who is enormous (the size of a 2year old) and is into everything, including getting muddy in the garden. I want to get him some waterproofs so I'm not constantly changing his muddy clothes - is it easier to get an all in one or are separates easier.

Also, any recommendations of reasonably priced waterproofs?

We have a zip up all in one, I don't know the brand but it has a wee picture of a shark on front. Rookietoddler is not small but the 18-23mths seems quite big on him and he is 21 mths so I think they make them big. It only cost £15.00 and its a great purchase along with his wellies as yesterday he was rolling around in muddy puddles and it doesn't matter how dirty he gets in it.

Just checked on ebay and if you search for all-in-one rainsuit you should find a few.

At that age I'd go for all in ones. Check out Oswald Baileys.

We've got both - use Kibba dungarees for when its not cold but he wants to sit/play in the garden. Use Togz all-in-one for walks/tobogganing (with fleece under), falling lengthwise into puddles and generally splashing about. Have just recommended Togz all-in-one to friend at work. Just about to get next size up...

Mellymell, I may have some size 2 all in ones my DS has outgrown - want me to check? He has worn them about 5 times...I am not as hardy and don't go out in the rain as often as I though I would!
