Tinned curry

Hoping to get recommendations of decent curries in a tin to keep at my caravan with pouches of micro rice for when we arrive late in the day. Meat or veggie!

I know the thread is over a week old but kohinoor pouches of different vegetable curries and side dishes are excellent. All very different flavours.

I'm sure I've seen these packets in Home Bargains. Does the Lorna truly taste like a korma?!

I’ve only tried Sainsbury’s veg curry in a tin but really liked it. Tbh I’d probably make a veggie dhal at home, freeze and take that. It’ll defrost slowly and keep other stuff cool too.

Thanks for this thread. Had M&S CTM and hot lamb last week. Very good for tins, particularly the lamb.

I bought loads of tinned stuff when I read the Preppers threads last year! 😆 I eventually ate them. I found that the Tesco tinned curries, stews and chillis are all genuinely nice. I was really surprised as my parents had always been very sneery about tinned stuff like that.

Thanks everyone! Glad it helps!

Actually, I've had some really good tinned curry from Tesco, especially the vegetable one. Very, very good with a sprinkling of fresh coriander. He chicken jalfrezi was also good, nice big chunks of chicken and spicy too. They're less greasy than ready meals, super cheap and surprising tasty. Do not touch the veggie bolognaise with a bargepole though - that was vile Confused
