Caravan/campsites for Oct Half Term

Any recommendations for October half term caravaning?
I'm thinking about the Peak District but open to any suggestions.
Within about 4 hrs of Essex.

Hill of Oaks is a lovely site in the Lakes. You can hire your own private bathroom with a bath and shower which is fabulous with kids and the Lakes.

Also love the Camping and Caravan site at Keswick right on the lake and a short walk into Keswick.

Not sure if too far though?

Actually mean Park Cliffe not Hill of Oaks. They are opposite each other.

This is a great site. Plenty to do round and about - Woodhall Spa itself is lovely.

Callow Top

These all look great, I've bookmarked them all.
Lake district too far for half term, but great for Easter.
Callow Top almost perfect distance wise and local activities! Only negative is showers etc. closed (we do have a bathroom - its v.v.v.small but doable). Will keep it in mind.

Laneside caravan park in Hope is nice. It has a great little river for kids to play in.
