Trailer Tent

We have just bought a second hand trailer tent which we will be collecting this week.

We're going to give it a good clean and replace anything that needs replacing.. possibly mattresses etc

We are used to camping in a tent but are looking forward to trying something different.

Any hints and tips of how to maximise storage in a trailer tent?! I'm aware theres not many cupboard or floor space.

We had a trailer tent for 3 years. We recently sold ours due to the time it takes to set up, it was gonna be impossible with a 4 and 1 year old!! It was sad to see it go.

We gave our kitchen a massive update which made life so much easier. I can’t remember where we got the drawers from, could of been Ikea? 🤷‍♀️ Got some off cut worktop and added a campervan hob we got off eBay!

We used collapsable cupboards for food and a plastic drawer for clothes etc. And big plastic tubs for storage, also made it easier to pack it all in the car.

We also used the carpet from our old tent and to make the trailer more cosy we got an off cut of carpet and put that in. It made a huge difference.

Wow lubilu that looks fab! And lots bigger, I assume you have a good size awning on that?

Apparently weve got a folding camper.. I cant tell the difference but apparently its water tight and easier to set up from the go..🤷‍♀️

The kitchen looks good and theres more cupboard space than I thought. We're just fixing a few things and replacing the carpet then hopefully we'll be good to go! We slept in it in the garden this weekend with our 2 year old and he loved it so that's great!

We only have a sun awning with it rather than a full one which is a slight draw back but theres some on ebay if we feel like we need one.

I thought we had a trailer tent but it turns out that it is a folding camper. Apparently, the difference is whether you need to use pegs to make it stay up. Or something. The kitchen is usually inside too, not in the awning.

We only have a sun awning with it rather than a full one which is a slight drawback.

We only put the awning up on ours for longer stays. I've been looking for a matching sun awning.
