Electric blankets

Is this a daft thing to do? In a desperate attempt for a break, we've booked for camping in Hurley but am concerned about the chilly evenings.

We have skandia SIMS but would love a bit of warmth at night. We have hook up. Are electric blankets a silly idea?

We use an electric blanket in our trailer tent, so not such a daft idea. In a tent, I would be slightly concerned about any possibility of water getting into the controller, but that is no more of an issue than when using any other mains equipment.
