Best amping tour operator

Sort of follows on from last question-
If we were to go to France or similar, apart from the option of booking direct with a campsite, which provider is best? Eurocamp , keycamp, canvas ? I don't even know who's out there tbh.

Depends what you want.
We went with Siblu for great kids clubs (they own the whole sites) and good facilities.
Carisma have all sites that directly access beaches.
Many great holidays with Matthews, very cheap! Don’t see the reps much but didn’t need them. Not many sites but if you like where they are I would go with them.
Thomson Alfresco for great vans with air con etc when going far south.

I own a van with Siblu- good kids clubs- babies to teens , lots of lifeguards, sports and events all day, shows at night. French/ English and probably German or Dutch spoken in shows and kids clubs. Size of pitch very variable- my own is huge, I’ve visited some with barely room to park a car.
Yelloh- we found it was all in French. Not an issue if you and the children speak French. Mine doesn’t Speak more than real basics and was very bored. We found the bathrooms cramped and queues long (la Rochelle area).
Canvas- good sites, English and French spoken. Some have good activities for teens, beyond water polo or volleyball. DS enjoyed the activities and was willing to have a go with his tiny amount of French as he really wanted to join in. Clean and more specious.
