...how do you transport them and keep them safe from wee ones? Speacial box or special cover for the blades? If so, where from?

I take small kitchen knives and put them into a tupperware container.

I only have one and it goes in the "kitchen" box which is a huge plastic storage box to transport.

Things I don't want dd to reach go in a hanging organiser thing with little pockets that I hang onto the cross poles.

We have a camping set in a box that includes all BBQ tools, cutlery, bottle openers etc & a set of sharp knives. It even has a chopping board that clips in.

Mine is gardeners folding knife. Boy can't unfold it yet, also lives in the kitchen tupperware box.
