Caffyn's Farm near Lynton. The sun shone for us and it was heavenly. Walk across fields and through woods down to a beach. Near the Valley of the Rocks. Food available on site but nice and rustic (think swallows nesting in the toilet block). Can't recommend highly enough.

Westacott Farm is a peaceful and friendly working farm with amazing sea views (and in an area of outstanding natural beauty). One of the fields has a children’s play area. Produce is available from the farmhouse. They sell eggs (when available, sausages, bacon and burgers, and now also have ice creams, cold drinks, sweets and a few other essentials. About 20 minutes walk away is The Thatched Inn where they serve lovely home-cooked food. Greencliff beach and the South West Coastal Path is about a 20 minute walk away down the country lanes and footpath. The Big Sheep and the Milky Way adventure parks are very close too.

Caffyns Farm is a relaxed, rule-free, pitch-wherever-you-fancy site. Campfires are encouraged. You can wander over any of the farmland. It’s a great spot for kids with pony trekking right from the farm and walks down to the beach down at Lee Bay.
Mount Folly is a working farm with low-key, rustic camping. It has amazing views over Bigbury bay. It's just 100m from the South West Coast Path, and a 10-minute walk to the sandy beach at Bigbury-on-Sea. At low tide you can walk across the causeway to Burgh Island.

We stayed on a small site near woolacombe bay last year which was on a farm, can’t for the life of me remember the name but we booked it through pitch up. They have chickens on site and kids are allowed to go and collect the eggs from them, toilets and showers are nice and clean and there’s a small play park on site.
