Please could you help me with my Christmas shopping?! My aunt and uncle, both aged in their sixties and recently retired, love their caravan and caravan holidays. Can anyone help me and give me inspiration for something the get them for Christmas?

I would love a diecast model of my caravan.

Buy them a caravan gadget. Unless you know that they love caravan related 'stuff'!

We have a caravan and we always look for stuff that could come in handy - possibly disposable.

actiongirl1978 · 27/11/2019 21:32

YY to the idea of a nice throw or some throw cushions. We always use lovely blankets whilst on the sofa.

Also maybe a scent diffuser - I've just cleaned our caravan for the winter and left damp catchers inside and a really nice diffuser.

Please get them a personalised card like this op so they can put it up in their caravan!

Other than that, if you can afford it, get them an awning if they don’t already have one

Lovely suggestions thank you! I'm not sure what model their caravan is so I can get something specific to that can. I was thinking something useful but have no idea what 'caravan gadgets' are?! What type of thing would you like if someone bought you a present? I think they've got lots of nice blankets already (although I would love a gift like that personally!)

How about one of those multi section frying pans - where you can put 4 or 5 foods on the pan at the same time without them mixing - could be good if they like cooked breakfast.

In our caravan with have a plug in milk steamer so can still make a flat white whilst away. We also have an aeropress for the same reason.

Or a stovetop espresso maker? V stylish.

Or a new jigsaw/game of scrabble etc as caravaners like a game.

Or a voucher for a pub near where they like to camp? E.g. we go to Padstow with ours each year, would love a voucher for our favourite restaurants down there.

Loving these ideas thank you!

Could you get them a voucher for the caravan club or camping & caravan club to be used for a night's stay or a years membership? A couple of solar lights for outside the caravan or a couple of bottles of wine for them to enjoy in the caravan. A book of caravan sites or local walks for the area they like

LittleMissnotLittleMrs · 28/11/2019 19:26

How much do you want to spend OP and what sort of trips do they take - weekends, 2 week + in UK, 2 week + in EU or a few months in winter somewhere warm. What are their likes (cooking, birdwatching, hiking etc)

NCTDN · 30/11/2019 08:12

Are these any good?

Thanks everyone... they mainly caravan around Ireland and Northern Ireland

Depends how much you want to spend but how about an Instant Pot? I hear of a lot of people having them in the caravan.

Pancakeflipper · 30/11/2019 17:10

Small slow cooker so they can have a day out and come home to lovely food. But tbh I like the idea of solar lights
