Annecy - La Ravoire / L'Ideal / Les Fontaines - somewhere else?

Looking at renting a mobile home on a site in or close to Annecy next summer. Have had a look at recommended sites and these seem to be the popular ones.

3 children - 1 pre-teen and 2 teens. Want to have some amenities (potentially a football activity for teen), pools a must, but don't want a massive commercial site. Hoping to use as a base for cycling / walking / paddle boarding / canyoning etc close by?

Have also considered AirBnBs (not a brilliant "camper") and I would prefer a house / apartment, but obviously want the children to have fun / have some activities to dip in and out of. Doesn't seem to be much difference in price (looking at about £1500 for a mobile home / Airbnb for 7 nights in mid August).

Any advice welcome!

Lac Bleu is a small uncommercial site with studios if you’d rather not stay in a caravan.

We have a motorhome and have stayed at Solitaire du Lac at St Joriaz which is just outside Annecy. It has direct access to lake beach, stop for the water taxi, easy access to bike path and also regular bus stop. They have caravans for rent, some food is available each evening and bread, croissants etc in morning. No pool but the lake beach is great for swimming

We stayed at L'Ideal and absolutely loved it. The pool is great. There was a field at the end of the site used for football and you could also watch the paragliders landing there. I am sure you will have a great time at any of the sites as it's a lovely area. Would recommend day trip to Chamonix and the Mer du Glace. Also lots of other lovely day trips available. I would love to go back.
