its bad enough the airbed deflating through the night never mind you tent.

I know, can you imagine? Any kid came near you witha stick you'd panic

God forbid you tried to camp near a tree with pine neddles

And lets face it some idiots gonna defalte it 'for a larf' after a few beers

can you imagine trying to locate a puncture? you'd need a swimming pool...

But at least you wouldnt need to pack inflatables as well

you know what - ridiculous inflatability aside - i find these really aesthetically appealing, the shape and the reassuringly heavy canvas. and actually the ridiculous inflatability adds to the appeal - it's all squishy with no sharp corners or bendy poles (that i always fear will snap in the wind). i found someone selling a large one with the awning for £500 and i have to admit to being (briefly!) tempted.

it is possible that i'm subconsciously influenced by a hope that owning one might magically turn me into the mum in the film (bottom left) though

It's take moe than a bloody poppable tent to make me look like that LOL!

Aesthetically we like the Eureka! tents they do at taunton leisure here- much nicer in the flesh (or canvas, as it were)
