Me, DH, DS5 and Ddog are camping this weekend and I was just making a mental list when I remembered how bored we got on an evening last time we went.

The weather was pretty terrible so we were in the tent (6man so big enough).

This time we will take:
Books
Magic sand
Jenga
Marshmallows

Does anyone have any great ideas so I don't reduce to giving DS his iPad?

Yahtzee - we’ve had hours of fun with Yahtzee. So competitive. Played it since the kids were about 8

Pebbles (collected on beach or countryside) and sharpies to decorate the pebbles with. Then head out to hide them the next day.
