What to do with bikes when camping?

We’re all set ready for our first family camping trip. 6 nights In Northumberland. Long range forecast-rain!!! We decided to buy bikes, needed bikes, rack, bars etc this happening over weekend. My question is how do you secure bikes at night or if you go out for day without them?

I'd leave them locked to the bike rack on the car overnight.
Not sure about during the day, is there somewhere on site you can lock them up together?

We’ve never been to site so I guess we can decide once there.

You can usually run a bike lock through a car bike rack to stop people taking them off so I'd say they were safe over night.
Depending how big your tent is could you lock them all together in the porch of it?
