Camping in this weather

I'm going camping in the Lakes next week. The current and forecast weather is making me think
It's going to be a washout. Is anyone there at the moment? What is it like? Anyone been camping in the lakes in this kind of weather? Was it worth it?

The lakes is always rainy so you were taking a gamble anyway. If your a seasons camper with decent gear then go. If your a newbie then I wouldn’t. You would hate it.

Where in the lakes are you going? I think it depends how remote it is.

Just come back from Ullswater- we were uncertain due to the weather forecast, rain and more rain. In truth rain in the morning then quick put more sun cream on sunshine later in the day. So pleased we didn’t get put off by forecast- we walked and swam in the rain no bother.
