Tent pegs - help too many options!

We are off to France camping for a couple of weeks and I want to upgrade our pegs. Eurohike tent came with standard wire ones and most are bent. I imagine the ground will be dry and hard as it's been hot, but equally may get softer if it rains lots! So which do I get? I've been looking at the blue diamond boxes but there are still so many options. So the straight hard ground pegs or the screw ones? I'm considering a few delta pegs for the main guys but how many would work. It looks like our tent has 10 main guys, 3 on each side and 1 at each end. Could I get away with less deltas as they aren't cheap! Don't want to spend too much but want to make sure we are sorted for a 2 week camp. Thanks.

Go for straight hard ones but take a full size hammer ....learnt this from seeing DH put in awning pegs. Aldi had some still on offer if you check your local shop

Perhaps take some larger plastic ones as well in case it goes soft but unlikely. Most ground unless a cost field need the full size hard pegs. The silly wire type are useless and don't even hold a dryer

Halfords have packets of very cheap pegs of different types reduced atm.

I would take rock pegs and also some of those that are wider with a V shaped groove running down. They are good in softer or sandy ground as well as normal conditions.

I'm no longer bothering with wire pegs. I still have to take rock pegs just in case, then there's no need to take wire ones as well. I like the ones that are basically sodding great nails. I tried some that have a bit of plastic for a hook on the end but found the plastic bent when pulling them out. The ones I recommend have a small metal rod welded across them near the top. They look like t without the hooky bit on the bottom.
