Glamping with children

We have just returned from a five day break at Tremeer Farm Yurts in Cornwall and it was just brilliant. We have two children, a 21 month old and a 3 and a half year old. The children absolutely loved the open space and we really appreciated the distance between the yurts. It meant we could relax a little in the knowledge that if there were tears or tantrums, we wouldn’t be ruining someone else’s quiet enjoyment of the stunning views. Rob and Sara have clearly put a lot of thought in to the set up and design of the site, the kitchens are very well equipped and boxes are provided to store food, the bathroom is extremely clean and again, boxes are provided to leave shower gels, toothpaste etc. Rob took the children to feed the pigs, lambs and Mary the cow and her calf every morning and the children were encouraged to look for eggs and feed the chickens in the yard. The wood fired hot tub was bliss and our 3 year old thoroughly enjoyed making pizza and cooking it in the pizza oven. Rob suggested several wonderful beaches to visit which were little gems. The yurts themselves were very comfortable and clean. All in all a wonderful place to stay and we will definitely be back.
