Just FYI you can buy Aldi tents and some very cute head torches online now. In shops on Thurs.
We have an outdoor revolution tent and love it otherwise I'd snap up the 289 quid one that Aldi have.

Thanks for that, the kids animal head torches are fab. I just got duck & monkey ones. I was tempted too by the camping hammocks but managed to restrain myself!!

Just coming on to discuss this. Is the 6 person tent any good? I’m looking for a tent for some light camping (2/3 nights in the summer, a couple of hours from home) Would this fit the bill?

We are 2 adults, 3 year old and baby

Has anyone tried the blow up family tent? Selling at £125 I believe

Don't waste your time with the windbreak - I wish I had heeded the reviews

They've got a few more tent styles this year, the descriptions aren't accurate enough to distinguish between them. We got the ore traditional 4-man last year, this one:

And it did us ok, including through a few nights of high wind and driving rain.

The camp kitchen is definitely worth a look.
