Whose camping this weekend/week?

Thought it’d be nice to hear about everyone’s plans!

We’re off camping for the first time this year with another 2 families, heading off after breakfast today down to the Forest of Dean.

Hoping that the weather forecast is completely wrong and it’s not going to rain as much as they say!

Anyone else off camping? Wherever you go, I hope the sun is shining for you and that you have lots of fun!

Off on Tuesday - Thursday with DD3 and her mate - making up for the weekend we missed due to illness (when all our mates where going as well!)

Staying fairly local - 40 mins away from home

We've taken the kids (4&2) for their first camping trip. Looks like the rain is setting in now though...

Have fun OP and everyone.. we are off to Cornwall tomorrow. DH currently 'mending' the tent in the garden which is so bloody irritating as I've been asking/reminding him for weeks to get it sorted

In Wales and enjoying it although the heater had made an appearance tonight. Unheard of in May.

We’re in Snowdonia!

The weather is looking mixed so we are just going with the flow. It’s currently hammering down but meant to clear by mid morning so we are hoping to get to the beach. It’s warmer than May BH when we woke up to frost so I’m thankful for that at least!

We’ll be needing a new awning though - despite being put away dry last summer it’s gone mouldy

Intermittent showers here on the IOW. Luckily campsite has a heated outdoor pool and kids are in with their winter wetsuits on, happy as anything.

We went over the weekend. Weather not too bad, much better than expected. We went with a big group of friends, 13 kids all together from age 2 - 11 (mine are 6 and 3). I’m new to camping but dh has camped quite a lot in the past. We all had a great time so will definitely go again.
